Woodpecker Archives is an artist-run co-working space housing art, preservation, and project files relating to artist-built environments, roadside vernacular architecture, and contemporary studio practice with a focus on rural. The site facilitates visiting scholars, art history illuminated window drops, and free poetry/zine/artist publication newspaper boxes for public distribution.
We’re also the incorporating office for the Artist-Built Environment Network, a collaborative extablished to share resources related to the preservation and stewardship of artist-built environments across the United States
